Vishesh Films’ Khamoshiyan has also taken a poor start at the box office this week. Most films produced by the banner have good music, which has a huge impact on the opening numbers of any film, more so at mass centres. The music of Khamoshiyan didn’t catch up and the film didn’t have any face value either.
The film is a washout at multiplexes, mass centres are better but the occupancy is too low to make much of a difference.
Unlike Hawaizaada, Khamoshiyan has a chance if it picks up over the weekend as the costs are on the lower side. If the evening shows on Day 1 show growth, the film could collect a little more than Rs 1 crore.
Directed by Karan Darra, the film stars Gurmeet Choudhary, Ali Fazal and Sapna Pabbi.

The trend of flops and below average again started after PK……In last 4 months only Bang Bang,Haider, HNY ,PK did well..So where is the trend going for small movies….
