Imran Khan’s comeback film ‘Katti Batti’ has performed better than his previous release ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’, but the film is still a huge disaster at the box office.
While ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ finished with business of 15 crore, ‘Katti Batti’ is set to finish somewhere in the 25 crore range. For a film made on a budget of Rs 33 crore (including P&A) these are hugely disastrous collections.
In fact, after a fairly decent start on Friday, the fate of the film also starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead, was decided by poor collections on Saturday and Sunday. Even films that have been completely rejected by the audience, show growth on Sunday. The trend is even more shocking for a film like ‘Katti Batti’, which is targeted at the multiplex audience.
With both ‘Hero’ and ‘Katti Batti’ failing, Nikhil Advani’s directorial career has hit rock bottom.

Kangana is a good actress but talks too much and keeps calling herself no 1 actress. With each hit she also gives a disaster movie. She should shut her mouth now and focus on her work.

Kangna has very few scenes and was under utilized. Director should have balanced bcoz ROMCOM should have balance between hero heroine screen time. best example was HUM TUM. Imran acted good but was over dose bcoz every scene having imran imran and imran. TAMASHA and SHANDAAR will face presures of ROMCOM not working OFF LATE
Bollywood needs to stop rehashing this same old rom-com craps and use their brains and create something original.
