In the last half-decade or so, the success that Katrina Kaif has achieved is beyond anyone’s imagination. In 2011, Katrina had one release – Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – and the film went on to gross more than 150 crores all over the world. In India, it did close to 90 crores (nett gross) of business. Her next release is Yashraj Films Mere Brother Ki Dulhan with Imran Khan.

• Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara: The film released amidst tough competition. Delhi Belly was going strong at multiplexes and Murder 2 was doing well at single screens. Also, the same week witnessed the release of Hollywood biggie Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2. Still, the film along with Katrina’s performance was liked immensely and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara did well at theaters for more than 5 weeks, a rarity in today’s times. Infact, its still running to near full houses for night shows at many places.
• Bodyguard (special appearance): In Bodyguard, Katrina Kaif features in one item number with her ex-boyfriend Salman Khan. The movie directed by Malayalam director Siddique, is set for release on August 31st 2011.
• Mere Brother Ki Dulhan: Her next release in 2011 is a romantic comedy with Imran Khan. Produced by Yashraj Films and directed on debut by Ali Abbas Zafar, Mere Brother Ki Dulhan is scheduled for release on 9th September 2011. Let’s wait n watch to see if Katrina can add yet another blockbuster to her already illustrious career.
• Main Krishna Hoon (special appearance): Katrina has another cameo in Main Krishna Hoon, an animated-cum-live action film directed by Rajiv S.  Apart from Kat, the film also has cameos by Hrithik Roshan and Juhi Chawla. This would also be the last you’d get to see of Katrina Kaif on screen in 2011.

• Ek Tha Tiger:  Katrina’s first release of 2012 will be with ex-beau Salman Khan in Yashraj Films’ Ek Tha Tiger. Katrina has been paired with Salman in two movies before – Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Yuuvraj, the former did well but the later was a box office disaster. Ek Tha Tiger will be directed by Kabir Khan and is almost confirmed for release on 8th June 2012.
• Yash Chopra Directed Movie – Any doubts that Katrina is the favorite leading lady of the Chopra’s were cleared when Yash Chopra signed Katrina Kaif opposite Shahrukh Khan in a film to be directed by himself! The legendary director while announcing the film said that he hopes to do justice to Katrina’s beauty and talent! Huge compliment that, coming from someone like Yash Chopra! This would be her biggest release to date – with the two kings of romance – SRK and Yash Chopra. The yet-to-be-titled film also stars the very promising Anushka Sharma.
