Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri has signed ‘Deshdrohi’ star Kamaal R Khan for an extended special appearance in his upcoming film ‘The Villain’.
The action film brings together young heartthrobs Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, who were last seen in ‘Student Of The Year’ and ‘Aashiqui 2’ respectively. While Sidharth awaits the release of his next film ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, Shradhaa makes a special appearance in this week’s release ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’.
‘The Villain’, currently under production in Mumbai, also stars Riteish Deshmukh.
A source close to the film says “Kamaalji’s role is hysterical. He is both hilarious and diabolical. He has already shot for two days”
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, ‘The Villain’ is expected to release in theatres on June 20 2014.
