Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has officially confirmed to our good friends over at Catch News that the theatrical trailer of ‘Kaabil’ will be released during Diwali this year. The trailer could be attached to the prints of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil or Shivaay, both of which are scheduled to release during the festive weekend.
Earlier today, in an interview with Hindustan Times, Roshan had said that it’s superstition that isn’t allowing him to change the release of the Sanjay Gupta-directed Kaabil.
We were able to confirm from trade sources that Roshan has never changed the release dates of his films, once they were officially announced. Being a superstitious person – the title of all his home-productions also start with the alphabet ‘K’ – Roshan has decided to go ahead with the ‘Republic Day weekend’ release of the film.

SRK should release Raees on some other day. I know he is going through bad phase but that doesn’t mean he should hurt other actor’s film!
If he doesn’t shift, then Raees will be a huge flop and SRK himself will be responsible for it.

Raees 150cr and kaabil 80cr. But srk should not think he won the clash. it is a blunder to release two movies for one holiday. Release a movie on 2500 screens rather than 4000+. i don’t understand the logic of both parties.

and release date of Raees will be shifted to another date avoiding the clash.
