Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 has performed very well in its first weekend at the box office. The film has shown excellent growth and the trend is even better than ‘Rustom’ and ‘Airlift’ last year.
The ‘First Day to Weekend’ growth ratio of Akshay’s last few films is as follows:
- Jolly LLB 2 – 3.86 times
- Airlift – 3.69 times
- Rustom - 3.57 times
- Housefull 3 – 3.53 times
Jolly LLB 2 has been given the second widest release for an Akshay Kumar film in the last two years, only behind ‘Housefull 3’. The collections are good, but since the film started at a low level on Friday, a 7.5-crore hold on Monday would be excellent, while anything less than 6 crore would suggest that the film isn’t holding up after a good weekend.
The first weekend collections are as follows:
- Friday – 12.5 crore
- Saturday – 16.25 crore (30% growth)
- Sunday – 19.30 crore (19% growth)
- Weekend collections - 48 crore (approx)

If there is a significant difference in Trade Estimates & Official Figures, then in addition to reporting Trade Estimates, you should expose them. But these minor differences are obviously due to availability of data for Trade Estimates.
Anyways, do what you want but you’ll loose your credibility if you pick & choose as per your bias.

Excellent trending . 4th consecutive 100 cr for AK on non holiday.
Say it – non festive. Airlift, Rustom both were Holiday release, but not festive release (EDX)… & nowadays we consider Post IPL as holiday.
Twi biggest jokes thisbyear..kaabil inflated digures and Indicine own BO collections..both trying to be too smart for their own downfall..
In 2 days, Raees did 46cr, despite clash. Here Akshay has done around 48cr in three days with a solo release, and sequel factor. I’m not saying that Akshay isn’t a star, just asking his fans to stay in their limit. There should be no doubt that SRK was, is, and will always remain bigger than Akshay.
@yerfada, and from that 46 crore there is still doubts that around 10 Crore is manipulated..So ask your star to stay in his limit and not try to increase his acting fees too much
Just watched jolly LLB 2. Movie is ok , one time watch. 1st part was far far better. Saurabh shukla shine in both films.
People saying sequel factor helped the film , actually it’s other way around.. sequel factor killed the freshness and buzz. If it was a fresh start , it would have been opened and trended on far far better level

Watched this movie today. First movie is far better than this. Akshay fans may not agree but arshad warsi acted better as jolly llb.

Despite the negativity from persons who do not appreciate any actor unless they are Khans, Akshay and Hrithik are on top. Kaabil and Jolly LLB 2 are fantastic movies.
jo bhi collection monday tak hua hain wo umeed se bahut kam hai. main toh to weekend tak minimum 70cr estimate kar raha tha. But hope jolly will perform well overall.
