Jolly LLB 2 was the top choice for moviegoers this week too as the film remained steady on Day 8 at the box office. The film has collected Rs 4.14 crore on its 2nd Friday to take its 8-day total to 81.85 crore.
There were three other Hindi releases and several other films in various other languages. There was screen-crunch at multiplexes, but Jolly LLB 2 has sailed through with acceptable level of drop at the beginning of its second weekend.
The film is likely to collect around 17-18 crore in its second weekend and surpass the 100 crore mark by the end of its 2nd week.
Our ‘IndicineLBO’ prediction of 112 crore still looks to be in the accurate range for the lifetime business of Akshay Kumar’s first release of 2017.

It is great to see Akshay turning the tables . The first half of this decade was not going his way except 2012 but he made a huge turnaround with Airlift . Apart from box office collections it is great to see Akshay making some really good choices . OMG, S26, Holiday, Baby, Airlift and Jolly LLB 2 all got appreciation from the people and brought out the acting side of Akshay . TEPK also looks exciting because it is based on Swacch Bharat Abhiyan . This film should work in rural areas . 2.0 is the biggest film of Akshay till date . 2.0 will be the Highest Grosser of his career beating RR easily but because of sky high budget it needs to sustain very well to emerge as a Blockbuster . I am not pretty excited for Padman but it may work with the multiplex audience and the female section . Being born in February it feels great to see Jolly LLB 2 beating Gunday to become the Highest Grosser in the month of February . Well deserved indeed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

disappointing!!! i was hoping for it to cross Rowdy Rathore. I really don’t have any hope from TEPK and padman. 2.0 is a rajni movie so that doesn’t count. so we have to wait till 2018 for an akki movie to cross 150 cr.
