  • The title of the film should be transalated into English and placed below the Hindi title when the film is being advertised internatuionally…..so that word of mouth advertisment could be made easier for the none speaking Hindi patrons.
Already the dialogue is sub-titled in English and other languages…so why not the title o0f the film ?

  • Ajay Devgn Films has released an official statement regarding
the ongoing dispute with Yash Raj Films. It was alleged that YRF was
    using its dominant position to
    ask exhibitors to dedicate
more screens to its film Jab
    Tak Hai Jaan, adversely
affecting Devgn’s Son of Sardaar, which releases on the same day .
    Responding to reports that the
    Competition Commission of
    India (CCI) rejected the
    complaint, a statement was
issued by ADF, saying: “The Competition Appellate Tribunal
has seen merit in our case and
    has issued notice for enquiring
    into the anti competitive
activities of YRF about the tie-
in arrangement to block our movie Son of Sardaar on the
    day of Diwali.
    “While looking at YRF’s own
    damning statement that only
    821 theatres, which have
already executed agreement with YRF for showing Jab Tak
Hai Jaan on the Diwali day, had
    a so-called tie-in arrangement
    in comparison to 1407 single
screens for Ek Tha Tiger, the
Competition Appellate Tribunal did not provide an interim
    relief.
    “This leaves the balance
    screens which have not
    executed agreements with
YRF to show Jab Tak Hai Jaan till date to be free to exhibit
    Son of Sardaar without any
    tie-in arrangement of YRF. This
    would include 586 single
    screens which had earlier
shown Ek Tha Tiger. “Accordingly, we would now
    be approaching all theatres
    who have not executed any
    agreement for showing Jab
Tak Hai Jaan for exhibiting our
movie. However, if the above facts are found to be false
    which would be proven
    through evidence after the
    release of the movie, we
    would not only continue to
fight against YRF’s anti competitive activities on our
own behalf but also on the
    behalf of the entire industry.”
Ajay Devgn claims he filed the
    complaint against Yash Raj
Films to put an end to the big-name monopoly in Bollywood and that his actions are for the
    good of the film industry.
Son of Sardaar and Jab Tak
    Hain Jaan release on November
    13.

  • @hamza khan. Yaar, no one really cares whether SOS will be released in south africa or not, we, the proud indians in india want SOS to be released in atleast 2300 screens but unfortunately yrf’s and srk’s “abuse of power” and their “unfair, unethical, blackmailing, immoral and dirty political” tactics(as always expected from srk) has denied SOS that deserving chance but remember ‘Srk’s position in single screens in india’=’ajay’s position overseas’. For the only reason that jthj is the final movie of the legendary yashji, i want it to become a bb otherwise no one damn cares about srk and his movies. Sos will atleast be a superhit and in case you come out depressed, terrible and tortured after watching jthj in theatres, dont forget to watch the family entertainer sos.
