Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai Movie Review

Love between a man from Earth and girl (alien) from Venus, sounds quite interesting and at the same time slightly weird, doesn’t it? Milap Zaveri on debut as director brings together actors like Ritesh Deshmukh, Satish Shah, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vishal Malhotra, Sonal Sehgal and Ruslaan Mumtaz in this comic caper released under the People Tree Films  and Warner Bros banner. Milap Zaveri in the past has been credited as the story writer for films like Shaadi No 1 and Masti to name a few.

The story is about Rajesh (Ritesh Deshmukh) who has been in search of love ever since he was a child. Unlucky and frustrated he looses all hope until he meets Natasha (Sonal Sehgal). On the other hand, Desh (Ruslaan) is one of the most popular stars in the country. Girls want to marry him, but he too  cannot find ‘true love’.

Enter Tara (Jacqueline), an alien girl from Venus who is also in search of love. What follows is a funny love triangle. Who walks away with the girl?

What works for Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (Positives)

  • The concept is quite different and the story is quite interesting. The first half is filled with several light hearted moments, a few scenes are extremely funny and well directed.
  • The characters are interesting, well-written and each of the actors are perfectly cast, especially Satish Shah who is a treat to watch.
  • The film (atleast the first half) is  fun. The colors are heart warmingly bright.
  • The chemistry between the actors – Ritesh and Jacqueline – Ritesh and Vishal is nice.

What doesn’t work for Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai (Negatives)

  • The second half is stretched too long and soon after the story turns into a love triangle, the film gets extremely predictable.
  • The constant references to sex and even porn could make the family audiences cringe in their seats.
  • The costumes, especially those of Jacqueline are ordinary.
  • Some of the dialogues are lame and the music is nothing great.

Performances

  • Ritesh Deshmukh is in top form in the comic scenes but doesn’t get the emotional scenes in the second half right.
  • Jacqueline Fernandez puts across an improved performances compared to her first effort in Aladin. Her costumes though are forgettable.
  • Satish Shah is awesome. Vishal Malhotra is fantastic. Supriya Pilgaonkar is good. Sonal Sehgal and Ruslaan Mumtaz are perfectly cast and do well in their respective roles.
  • Several celebrities like Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Amrita Rao and Boman Irani have special appearances and make their presence felt.

Overall, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai has decent performances and a good first half. It tries hard to be funny, maybe too hard at times which somewhat ruins the fun. It does begin well but sadly ends up as nothing more than a average flick. We’d recommend you wait for the DVD or television premier. Ritesh Deshmukh fans can go watch.

  • sudeep forgot about akshay his poor decision of acting in same type of films has cost him dearly and yet he is not rectifying his mistakes by acting in another movie housefull which is definenety looking like garam masala and welcome mixed together

  • nitesh , Akki signed that movie 2 years ago and he is not an unprofessional who will leave the film mid way

even mad capers are well made take for eg golmaal and then all the best,APKGK was even worse than CC2C , even 3 idiots has loads of non sense scenes but what audience like or dislike is very unpredictable

INDICINE ??? started on 2006. In first quarter year with low comments, but after their continuous hard work the first year was average.

Later on with positive word of mouth and also the content was good where people used to visit daily made indicine to reach in top.
Indicine was easily crossing comments page at least 6 pages in a single day, till 2009 indicine collected huge amount of comments from all around the world, they had their fan followers in pile, they didn???t had time to reply any of the request or question from user???s.

February 14, 2010 was a memorable date as it was valentine day, on that day Indicine changed their version in new mode, Login system. They wanted to make user???s permanent but dropped down badly from 100% to 50% .Bad luck started???..
But surprise was on March 03, 2010 when once again dropped from 50% to 45% remaining was only 5%… i.e., users
Currently Indicine is in bad state, they hardly get a single comment in whole day whether article is good or bad no matters.

Will it continue with same conditions or try to pick up all the lost users. Well same old saying ???Try & Try until you Succeed???.

BOLLYPLUS ??? started on Feb 11, 2010.this site started by 2 young energetic guys with their own belief and confidence. They made one Goal which they have to reach in any cost.

As these 2 guys were new to this profession had to make day & night together for their dream project. Bollyplus started with dull results in first month with some technical problems later picked up well on following month that???s on March 03, 2010. On this date it was the luckiest ever date for Bollyplus where they pulled the crowd (users) all the long way from Indicine to Bollyplus. First couple of months it was bit hard to cross 5 pages of comments for single article but currently it is unbelievable crossing easily minimum 9 pages that too in single day, still moving very fast.

Hope this will keep on moving in highest speed, where they will be in top with short time.

    Point to be noted:-
March 03, 2010. Bad luck date for Indicine whereas for Bollyplus it was good luck.

What is the truth hidden behind this date???
