Answer: Which Shahrukh Khan film hasn’t performed well? Even some of his rejected films like Ra One did reasonably well at the box office. Since 2010, each and every SRK film has grossed more than 200 crore, including Ra One, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, My Name Is Khan and Don 2. His last two films have crossed Rs 350 crore worldwide. Chennai Express was the highest grosser of all time. Happy New Year crossed 200 crore in India. What exactly do people expect from SRK when it comes to box office? His fan base is strong all over, no cracks in any circuit (including overseas) just yet!

Answer: The response to the trailer is good and the extended holiday weekend should help. But to take a 15 crore plus opening, the film should get a good opening in mass centres too. The title could be the only problem here, a more mass-appealing title would have ensured higher footfalls at smaller centres too. We think, Baby will be a good film that will rely on word-of-mouth to be Akshay’s biggest grosser.
Q: When is the release date of Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani?
A: Currently, both films are scheduled to release during Christmas 2015. The situation is similar to earlier this year, when Bombay Velvet and Welcome Back were targeting Christmas releases. Firstly i would like to state that whatever i will say is not going to be an insult or a new agitation policy of mine…I will only be responding and asking your logic as a factual person, not as a fictitious one…

So you want me to buy this theory that a person, who has worked his a$% off to get his grammar, vocabulary and comprehension skills perfect, only to destroy its inheritance to “express” yourself? and you want me, especially a person like me who likes to go through extraneous details would like to buy it?? Ok!! here are some of your expressions….”tume”,”deae”, etc…i have written “etc” as these words are enough to get my point across…i can understand how tedious writing these messages can be and as a result, tend to use abbreviations like tym for time or dr for dear…even i used to do this…now in “deae”, you are already using four alphabets, and dear has four alphabets…so better write dear…or to spare time, write “dr”…and same for logic for time by “tym”, and how the hell on earth “tume” gonna sound like time?? Honestly speaking, i had a hard time to understand….i just can’t grasp what is the logic behind this…if your point was to express yourself, you only confused me with your writing logic…
moreover, have you noticed, i, myself haven’t been true to English literature…i have used 2 to 3 periods to end a sentence and 2 question marks…but at least i try to be clean so that my point is understandable…you got 95 in English, so i assume you know what i am talking about… and still i wont call you “stupid” because i am stupid…

OK! some domestic (US) stats!! Avatar (2009) released in 3452 theatres, Mokingjay Part 1 (2014) released in 4151 theatres…(want to confirm? follow boxofficemojo.com )firstly notice the change in number of theatres in US for Hollywood biggies…This average remains the same and there are still big productions released in 3500 to 3700 theatres in US…Mind you this is US (domestic market)…so if you ask me how come they manage to get to 700+ million dollars with a ticket price of 15-16 dollars? Its because the quality of these films are such that people throng to theatres every weekend..they at an average have a drop of about 40-50% in their second weekend with their most successful movie….but in India, the producers plays smart as they never have faith in their products (HNY, Dabangg 2) etc and they know these are anticipated flicks because of their star quotient…so what happens is they escalate the screen count so that maximum revenue is absorbed in the box office, and by the time the reviews and the word of mouth plays its park, the budget is met and they are safe…I am not against this policy, its smart..but i am against their lack of commitment chasing quality…but i still wont call you “stupid” because i am stupid…

you make me scratch my head dude!! i don’t have any idea what you are referring to…i can only remember my mistaken gross collection of Avatar as net…and i already addressed that part..but if you find the net collection of Avatar, its 78 crores…good enough to compete against our recent quality products like Kahaani and Lootera…For GOD’s sake, a hollywood picture released way back in 2009 giving tough competition to 2012-2013 flicks of ours..it even eclipsed Lootera, not sure about Kahaani…So this is here i can see Hollywood starting, having a built a foundation in Indian market…I haven’t said that this will happen, but with rise of literate people and rise in adolescent population, can you guarantee this won’t happen?? I have been constantly disappointed with the major Khan flicks and even skipped HNY this year…Shah Rukh Khan used to be my absolute hero…but he diminished his stardom in front of me by associating with crass comedies…i liked CE, but HNY is unbearable even by its trailer…how can i keep supporting him?? and so my point of why his stardom is declining, and why hollywood might possibly, i repeat, possibly, someday, earn higher than some of our most anticipated films of our biggest celebrities…Dude, i always speak and use my words very thoughtfully…before making even an assumption, i always have logical facts to back my claims….throw any question on my comments regarding explaination, i will come up with an answer..but still i wont call you stupid because i am stupid…
