Before the release of her Bollywood debut Barfee with Ranbir Kapoor, south Indian actress Ileana D Cruz has been offered the lead role opposite Akshay in Khiladi 786. The film will also feature Himesh Reshammiya. Hari Om Productions, Akshay’s home banner will co-produce the film with Himesh.
A source says Ileana is very excited to work with Akshay. And the respect for each other is mutual, as Akshay too is keen on working with her in two more films.
After completing Barfee, Ileana will start shooting for Khiladi 786. The film is scheduled to release during Diwali next year!
