If Andaz Apna Apna released today?

Not many are aware of the fact that Andaz Apna Apna, one of the most loved comedy films in history, was a box-office failure when it released in 1994. Even though director Rajkumar Santoshi managed to pull off a casting coup, as he cast Aamir and Salman together as Amar and Prem.

18 years later, Salman and Aamir are two of the biggest superstars in the country and only act in solo-films. If Aamir has a 200 crore blockbuster like 3 Idiots, Salman has the second, third and fourth biggest grossers in Bodyguard, Dabangg and Ready.

Which makes us wonder – What if Andaaz Apna Apna released today? Considering the fact that it was great film with tremendous repeat value, even 300 crores was possible! What do you think? Tell us in the comments section below

@puneet verma- i don’t need your help for understanding which movie is sensible and which isn’t! I love Shahrukh because he makes the movies which are very sensitive and meaningful like veer-zara, KKKG, MNIK, chak de india, kal ho na ho, swadesh and many more but i didn’t love ra.one very much because it had so much masala, Hrithik and aamir are also good for me because they also act in meaningful movies but i don’t like salman and akshay due to their brainless movies!

gr8 movie….one of my most favorite comedy movie….excellent dialogues….amir and salman at their comic best…but other contributions from shakti kapoor, paresh rawal, viju khote, tiku tulsania,deven verma,jagdeep and others cannot be ignored.A comedy classic….hilarious to the core.Excellent material for remake.

Great news SRk is NO 1 again in worldwide ranking according to boi. And in overseas he has always been no 1 so no need to mention that. Salman is no 1 in india nd he deserved that But srk has closed the gap in india as well.

hi! @indicine , really i can’t understand what do you mean that but now adays you are promoting AAMIR KHAN.

The other think that i like to tell you is that many peaple didn’t like this film so much but how can KKHH collect if it released to day? May be 500 + crore!!!!
