About IBN7 Super Idols 2012

While London Olympics 2012 gave India its best-ever Olympic medal tally, it also proved to be a milestone for disabled sports in India. A contingent of 10 differently abled athletes gave India its first medal in the high jump event at the Paralympic Games. To celebrate this landmark achievement, IBN7, in partnership with Supertech, is back with the fourth edition of Super Idols. These awards recognize achievers with special abilities who have soared beyond physical disability and proved that no challenge is bigger than one’s beliefs.

‘IBN7 Super Idols’ are people who lead and inspire by example and make us better human beings and awaken the spirit of self belief in us.

This time, it is special as India’s para-athletes will get the much-needed recognition for their valiant efforts to improve the stature of Indian sports. These idols have proved that with strong will power and a never-say-die attitude, any individual can do wonders in any circumstances.
