Prachi Desai made a promising debut in 2008’s hit film ‘Rock On!!’, but her career didn’t take off even though she appeared in a few popular films like ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’.
In 2014, she was only seen in one film – ‘Ek Villain’ where she had an item number titled ‘Awari’.
At a press conference to announce her New Year performance at Country Club, the actress said that she would be seen in more films in 2015. (article continued after the image)

“Actually I think I need to make many resolutions this year because I’ve been told by the people who work with me very clearly that this year I have to be more active on social media. Apart from that I should also make a resolution that I should do more than one film this year” she said.
Prachi has been signed to play the role of Mohammad Azharuddin’s first wife in a biopic on the former India captain’s life. The film features Emraan Hashmi in the lead.
