Ranbir Kapoor’s last three movies were huge disasters at the box office, but the actor has said that he hopes people come to watch him on the big screen when ‘Tamasha’ releases in theatres later this year.
“Audience will see me in November. They were not ready to see me in my last three films, so I am hoping that when promo and song of ‘Tamasha’ will come, audience will like it” Ranbir said.
The actor also announced the release date of the trailer of Tamasha, adding that it wouldn’t release on his birthday but a day after.
“The trailer of ‘Tamasha’ will be launched on September 21 or 22, and my birthday is on September 20,” he said.
Ranbir will start shooting for Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial venture and then move to Ayan Mukherjee’s untitled superhero film.
“Right now I am gearing up for Karan Johar’s film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Then Ayan Mukherjee will start his film in June and he hasn’t finalised the title yet. He is closest friend and a very fine director.”

Ranbir Kapoor is a very good actor . But his choices have been bad in the last 3 years . The period from 2009 to 2012 was the Best for Ranbir from WUS to Barfi ! In those 4 years he gave some amazing performances in WUS, Raajneeti, Rockstar and Barfi ! He did 7 movies in that period and only 2 were flops . In 2013 YJHD was a Blockbuster but i did not liked the movie very much . Then it all started with Besharam . In 2014 no movie of RK was released . In 2015 Roy and BV were failures . So Tamasha can be the turning point in his career . Best of Luck Ranbir and i hope Tamasha turns out to be a good movie . Expecting a solid performance from Ranbir and soulful music from my favourite and genius AR Rahman Sir !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Ranbir, your friend Ayan has made films like Wake Up SID n Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. How can he make a super hero film ? I request U to ask Ayan to shut up and make only rom coms like YJHD.
Also, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil with Anushka will only bring back horrible memory of Bombay Velvet. Even Omlettes in Bombay have sold more than Bombay Velvet tickets.
