In a career spanning more than 2 decades, Shahrukh Khan has won several awards, but the awards still leave him excited as ever.
The actor won two awards – Entertainer Of The Year and Best Romantic On-Screen Couple along with co-star Katrina Kaif – for his film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan”, at the Big Star Awards 2012.
On winning the Entertainer of the Year award, SRK said “Jab Tak Hai Jaan will always be a special film for me. I will always be thankful to Yashji. I get really excited with awards. No matter how many I have got, they have the same affect on me, like they did when I was new in the industry. I almost become like a kid in the candy store.”

So sir it means for you “buying AWARDS” with money is like buying candies, isn’t it? But why didnt you buy the NATIONAL AWARDS, is it because they are just ‘more than candies and not easily buy-able and you dont deserve them’ or is it because you think that film fare awards & blah blah awards are more genuine and valuable than the cheap NATIONAL AWARDS, to prove to your ‘STRANGE & WEIRD’ fans that your are the best actor? Buying & bargaining for the awards with money doesnt make you a great actor and nor can it make people(non srk fans) to love you as an actor & as a person ‘GENUINELY’. Yes you are a good but limited actor and really deserve some awards but i feel most of the awards you got were undeserving( more so because some other actors were simply better than you but their movies didnt run as well as your’s).

1. When SRK was a Student of St. Columba’s School where he was accomplished in sports, drama and academics, he won the ‘Sword of Honour’, an annual award given to the student who best represents the spirit of the school.
2. In 2008, Newsweek named SRK one of the 50 most powerful people in the world, ranking him at number 41. He was the only movie star in the list.
3. In 2009, a Crater in the Moon has been named ‘SR Khan’ which refers the name of Shahrukh Khan. SRK is the first and the only bollywood actor whose name is used for a Lunar Crater. King Khan got this extreme honour from International Lunar Geographic Society.
4. In 2011, SRK was honoured with the UNESCO’s Pyramide con Marni award for his charity engagements and social commitment towards providing education for kids. He is the first Indian to win this accolade. Also in this year, SRK was honoured with L’Etoile d’Or by Mohammed VI of Morocco, the King of Morocco during Eleventh International Film Festival of Marrakech.
