Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has confessed he stays away from reading film reviews and catches them only if they are funny.
“I don’t read reviews (not taking away from the importance of reviews),” SRK told mediapersons here Wednesday.
“I have a sense of humour and most of the time my sense of humour is about how I can make fun of myself, about 70 percent of the time, and 30 percent of the time it is about making fun of others.
“But they take it very, very, seriously so I stopped doing it,” he added
SRK was in town to celebrate the success of his latest release “Happy New Year.”
“So, I do it just about myself and if it’s a review I try and catch it only if it’s funny. If it’s serious about how filmmaking should be, I am really serious about filmmaking, so I don’t really want to get into that,” he said.
The Farah Khan-directed “Happy New Year”, which released Oct 24, is yielding profits at the box office – it crossed Rs. 100 crore in the opening weekend itself. Produced by Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt. Ltd. (RCE), the film raked in Rs.108.86 crore.

@Anand Original,how is the film HNY? Today I went to see the film HNY in theatre. But out of four shows, two shows were cancelled & they were showing other film. Should I again go tomorrow?

Sweetheart I wasnt kidding about wanting to tame you n mellow you down several notches… I think I will take you out to a theatre the next time Im over there n we can have a right good old laugh whilst watching a near perfect film- well according to our resident critik anyway- Lootera 2 may be out in 2016 n if nipuns pro lootera 2013 reports are anything to go by then the sequel will be even more better..,! Just to show I aint a sexist or big ego pig headed chauvinistic I will let you even decide which row we sit in as I wouldnt want you misunderstanding my motives for going straight for the backrows…!

As I told megha that the next time Im in India I will pop by n try to help you bu resolving your insecurities / inadequacies as an actor plus person. I will endeavour to see if I can make you atleast talented in one field whether it be writing, camera work or being a good spot boy. Once Im done with taming megha n getting her to a theatre to like atleast one movie Im gonna give you actual help n no more free advice. Im gonna pay for some acting classes for you- thats affordable for me- the other thing you could need is plastic surgery but for that you need to go to Boney Sir n beg for forgiveness for not letting him launch your no good for nothing talentless ass in Kollywood not Bollywood.
