Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has shown excellent growth in business on Saturday, with most centres showing an upwards trend. Dharma Productions’ last release 2 States, collected Rs 11.89 crore on its second day at the box office and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has almost managed to match that figure.
The film has collected Rs 11.25 crore on Saturday to take its total to Rs 20.25 crore in two days. The Varun Dhawan – Alia Bhatt starrer has performed well all over India, except the Mumbai circuit where business was affected by heavy rains.
Last year’s pre-Eid release Bhaag Milkha Bhaag also collected 9 crore on its opening day and 10.5 crore on Saturday. That film went on to collect more than 100 crore at the box office. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania also has a chance of collecting more than 75 crore at the domestic box office, as long as it manages to hold up to around 5 crore business on Monday.

Sunday update: The morning / noon shows on Sunday were better than both Friday and Saturday, say most exhibitors. The film is expected to collect somewhere between 12.5-13 crore on Sunday.

hskd basically shines foh its xcellent performance by actors… be it varun dhwana or alia bhat or ashutosh rana. also the two frnz of varun hav played their part veryy well.. dere r some witty one liners in the movie which wil make u rofl specially by dese two guyzz.
editing isnt good.. the movie shifts to places in seconds.screenplay is so so n the direction too is very average. music is not upto the mark.. saturday Saturday played in the end credits.. I only liked dat d se dance song. climax cud hav been more interesting. I wil go wid a 3 out of 5 n its just bcoz of its comedy.oderwise in terms of romance movie fails big time.it might b a tribute to ddlj but stands nowhere near the masterpiece.
