After 3 Idiots and Chennai Express, Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 has become the 3rd film to join the 200 crore club. While the Hindi version of the film has collected Rs 194 crore net, the grand total including Telugu and Tamil is Rs 206.35 crore.
Last week, Krrish 3 joined the 100 crore club in less than 4 days. Now, the Rakesh Roshan directed film has become the fastest ever to the 200 crore club.
The risk that the Roshans took attempting a film like Krrish 3 has paid off, as the significant increase in business over the weekend suggests that the film has been liked by the target audience – kids and families.

Dhoom 3 has to do really well to compete with Krrish3 collection otherwise it will hardly touch 150cr only.. my prediction for Dhoom3 is only 150 cr and not more than that !!!
Aamir Khan achieved this milestone when he was 45 years old, while SRK achieved it near to his 48th birthday. However, Hrithik is the youngest actor to enter the club achieving this milestone closer to his 40th birthday.
3 Idiots was released in 1700+ screens whereas Chennai Express was released in 3500+ screens in the domestic circuit. Krrish 3, on the other hand, was released in 4400 screens in India.
P.S : i am die hard fan of hrithik roshan ….there won’t be anybody who would be more happier than me on Hrithik’s success ….but still i value the Legendary Movie like 3 Idiots .

BOTH producers AND Box Office India give wrong figures.
Box Office India does not take into account the collections from small centres and therefore gives very low figures.
The producers manipulate and inflate the figures for publicity (this was clearly exposed when Balaji Motion Pictures gave 14 crores as opening day figures for OUATIMD but they forgot to pay Taran Adarsh; so trade analysts gave correct figure of 11.5 crores and BOI gave 9 crores).
A simple solution that I propose is that real collections will be somewhat the average of these two sources.
So Ek Tha Tigers real lifetime figure will be around 193 crores (BOI -187, producers -199),
Chennai Express around 218 crores (BOI 208, producers 227),
YJHD around 184 crores (BOI 179, producers 189)
Krrish 3 is 206 crores (producers) and around 160 crores (BOI 152 hindi and 8 dubbed tamil and telugu). So real collections are around 183 crores for 10 days.
And there is an urgent need to have a central tracking agency for box office figures. If producers manipulate figures then the govt thinks money is flooding the industry and raise taxes. This affects the exhibitors and distributors, and indirectly the producers collections. So everyone stands to lose.

Producers may not be directly manipulating figures but I think they are passing off the gross collections as net collections.
Indicine why you and everybody manupuating the figures and records, the way u all are shown such difference in collection every bollywood lover including me should hav the question what is the right collection… untill 3 idiots all the sites hav approximately same figures after that diifference in collection started as Box office India shown ETT collection 186 crores, others showed 199, the differece of 13 crores, then YJHD collected 176 according to BOI and others showed 190 crores, difference is 14 crores, CE 208 crores BOI and other showed 227 approx, difference is 19 , but the diifference is more than 50 crores in 10 days in Krrish 3 Scenario, Some thing is fishy, whom u have trust , if this case goes on every body should stop checking collection in every sites and just refer wikipedia after the lifetime run of the film which will give a correct idea to everybody. This is because every Hrithik fans follow this manupulated figure and every SRk fan follow boxoffice india as according to them K3 will find tough to cross CE figures….
Also i want to ask indicine y they are incuding other versions in account……it is just ridiculas.

Then they will say that k3 cant surpass ‘overseas’ collections. lol.
