Hrithik Roshan wins Best Actor award for Jodha Akbar
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has won the Best Actor award at the Muslim Cinema Golden Minbar Film Festival held in Russia.
Hrithik won the award for his brilliant performance as Jalaluddin Mohammed Akbar in Ashutosh Gowariker’s historic epic Jodha Akbar (Read Review)
Jodha Akbar was also adjudged as the best film at the awards function.
Congrats Hrithik, Ashutosh and the rest of the Jodha Akbar Team.

I WAS ATTENDING THE MOVEMT OF 4 HRS. NR ABOUT 12 OR 13 TIMES EXCTLY, THE MOVIE WAS OUTSTANDING, THE PERFORMANCE WAS TOO.

A very good movie which really worth Oscar award this year, TZP and Jodhaa Akbar, these r the 2 best whcih must be presented for the international award, I know that TZP entered for oscar, but what about this movie JA? It’s also worth it.

I think everyone should see Jodhaa Akbar at least once; it’s an amazing film and I feel has already defined itself as classic, not just in Indian cinema but in world cinema. The award to HRITHIK for BEST ACTOR is utterly deserved & would be perfect candidate for an Oscar nomination with T.Z.P next year.
Just as foreign films like Cinema Paradiso & Il Postino are classics JODHAA AKBAR, in my opinion, can deservedly be ranked amongst them.

According to box office report Jodha Akbar was the first hit movie released this year 2008. I watched it twice n I deeply liked it. For me only Krrish, Dhoom2 n JA r Hrithik’s best movies in his career. I liked his performance very much as the historical emperor Akbar. Congrats Hrithik, u really deserve it n got it.

Hi Cybersupam: I watched JA twice in cinema too. I agree with what u hv mentioned, 3 of the best movies for Hrithik but u hv missed out one ( Koi Mel Gaya). He started his career and success from this movie..KMG, and did a good job, a difficult one. I loved also his role in Fiza.

I am happy coz jodha akbar is my personal favourite film of da year ! Hope both main leads (hritick and aishwarya) both win for their stunning performances!
