Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath was initially confirmed for release on January 13th 2012, but with Aamir Khan’s Dhuan now postponed, Karan Johar has latched on to the opportunity to release his film during the extended Republic day weekend.
Karan Johar confirmed the same on Twitter “AGNEEPATH is now releasing on the 26th of January 2012”
The only problem though, is the release of Ajay Devgan’s Tezz, which is struggling against time to meet the deadline. The shoot of the film is yet to be complete, but producer Ratan Jain is confident “We were the first to announce the release date. We were ready to face Aamir Khan, we are ready to face competition from Hrithik Roshan too.”
If Tezz directed by Priyadarshan is completed on time, it’ll be a mega clash early next year – Hrithik Roshan vs Ajay Devgan. And what’s more, both are action films! Who do you think will emerge the winner?

FYI: Agneepath already created the record breaking Buzz while i heard abut this Tezz just today. Seacrh google and find that Agneepath is expected to be the biggest opener at BO according to the kind of response it got from its 1st trailer. Ajay Devgan is nothing compared to Hrithik anyway. Hrithik won the most best actor award in the last decade with fewer films than anybody else. He proved himself at award ceremony and at box office as well. His acting, star power, achievement, looks, action scenes are more of anything than Ajay Devgan. I understand that Ajay Devgan’s fan want Ajay to see him top but you guys can not override the truth with your emotion. You guys are talking about have competition of Tezz and Agnneepath. Well FYI, Agneepath was even postponed to January instead of October release because Ra.One will be released in October which is why Both SRK and Karan Johar had a meeting to postpone the Agneepath since both will lose a considerable collection at BO if they gets clash each other. And right now the Buzz created by Agneepath is highest of all. So forget about Tezz! no matter how big that film could be for Ajay, it will look smaller when Agneepath will release.
