IANS: Hrithik Roshan is likely to pull out all stops to promote his much-awaited film “Krrish 3”, the third part of the successful Bollywood superhero franchise, with the busy actor said to have kept aside an entire month to promote his home production across the world.
The movie is scheduled for release on Diwali (Nov 3) this year.
“Starting from the first week of October, Hrithik will take a month’s break to market the film, right until its release in the first week of November.
“The idea is to reach out to as many fans as possible during that time, because Rakeshji (director Rakesh Roshan) hasn’t started any kind of promotional activity yet. Even Hrithik has been off the media’s radar for a while now, since his last release ‘Agneepath’ was over a year ago,” said an insider.
As part of the global promotion of the film, Hrithik is likely to travel to places like Dubai, Canada, Britain and the US.
“Since he needs to promote the film in India as well as internationally, he will require time for the same,” the source added.
“Krrish 3” will take forward the story of the superhero, played by Hrithik, seen in “Koi… Mil Gaya” and “Krrish”.
Hrithik is currently busy shooting for Siddharth Anand’s “Bang Bang” with Katrina Kaif. He is also teaming up once again with his “Agneepath” director, Karan Malhotra, for “Shuddhi”.

Why Krrish 3 can be a huge Blockbuster:
1. Part of a highly successful movie franchise (Both KMG and Krrish are blockbusters)
2. Rakesh Roshan’s brilliant direction
3. Hrithik’s star power
4. Well knit script (Hrithik said in an interview that superhero film Ra.One failed dude to the lack of a good storyline). So obviously he will not do that mistake in his film
5. Viral marketing and promotion
6. Holiday release
7. Children love to watch superhero movies
8. Only 3 songs in the film, which means the not too many speedbreakers in the movie watching experience
My predictions:
Krrish 3 can do a minimum of 175 cr and a maximum of 200 cr+ at domestic boxoffice.
Since the budget of Krrish 3 is around 125 cr, therefore it will need 200cr + collection to become a blockbuster.
@summet srk, salman and amir are 47, aki and ajay are 45 and saif and hritic are 39years old respectively. They are already a superstar. But the age difference between them are very few. Thats why all of them are retire in the gap of max 5 year. But ranbir is 31 and shahid is 32, they are youngstar not superstar. But we hope they become superstar and after the end of the khans, kapoor will rule at boxoffice not hritic beacause he is already a superstar, may retire in the gap of 5 years after 3khans. So plz accept the truth, and the carecter of hro fans, hritic become no1 but frankly he has no chance to reach the position in reallity, but keep it in your dream. D3 is the height grosser of the year and amir bhai create the new 300cr club, just wait and watch. K3 will be a ra1 part 2.

A Universal appealing movie like Krrish 3 must do a business of 275Cr-300Cr other wise as a hrithik fan even i will not call it as BB or ATBB
A 50Cr movie like YJHD collected 154Cr in 2 week run and
A 40Cr movie like 3 idiots collected 202Cr
So a 100Cr+ movies like Krrish 3 should collect 275Cr-300Cr or any land marking figure its the target its a goal
the real stamina and boxoffice power will be shown who crosses 300Cr these low level figures means it will be underplay for such movies
So 200Cr is not enough for Krrish 3 or even Dhoom 3
See even indicine has predicted YJHD around 110 Crore but now
So indicine is doing its job by not giving over hype to these movies even their predictions will change after trailer and firstlook release
Mark my words you will see wonders at box office and in movies

@hrithiklover, @Romance Express: Upto 300 cr for Krrish 3 looks practically impossible. Yes, it’s getting released on over 4000 screens but large number of screens guarantees a big opening but NOT big lifetime collections. As far as huge collections of YJHD and 3 idiots is concerned, these are rare cases. I think upto 200 cr or slightly higher is possible for Krrish 3.
Trick that worked for Aamir’s Ghajini and 3 idiots:
Both movies have a very good storyline and have many flashbacks which CONFUSES a first time viewer. So he watches the movie twice or more to understand and throughly enjoy the movie resulting in bigger collections. ;)
Hollywood’s and Bollywood’s greatest films are set in flashbacks, eg, Titanic, Avatar (set in future), 3 idiots, Ghajini etc.
By “greatest”, I mean with greatest boxoffice collections.
End of the year There will be a good box office war and good competion between k3 and d3 but d3 is going to winner
