We just received info from credible sources that Hrithik Roshan has rejected Karan Johar’s offer to star in the lead role of the Agneepath remake.
Hrithik who will soon begin shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish, cited date issues and politely said no to good friend Karan Johar.
Karan was quite keen to cast Hrithik as Vijay Dinanath Chauhan, but the choosy actor decided against doing the film. Although Hrithik fans would have loved to see him enacting the legendary role, we think its a wise decision by Hrithik. Matching Big B’s national award winning act is no easy task, add to it the huge expectations and comparisons.. not to forget the original was a box-office disaster. What do you think? What’s wrong with Karan Johar?!!! Doesn’t he know anymore who fits in the correct roles?!!
And what’s wrong with Farhan Akhtar?! to sign Shahrukh for Don2!! Shahrukh too was wrong when he agreed to sign for the remake of Don as he can’t be a killer or a criminal.. negative roles r just different, so it’s different when u turn to be selfish, bad, possessive because u r in love ( like Shahrukh’s roles in both Darr & Anjam) than being a criminal who’s greedy, bad & kills people, etc.
So Hrithik did the right decision.. he doesn’t fit as a criminal or a killer!!
Agneepath was a horrible movie which I saw only 30 minutes and put it off.

Hrithik made a right desicion of Saying No to Karan as its a very difficult Task for a Lover Boy/Romantic Image star to act as a Don.
I think Abhishek will be the perfect choice for Agneepath(Remake).

Karan Johar is a good filmmaker.. so he’ll make it for sure better than the original.. but can Abhishek risk his career and do this movie?!
Its good wat Hrithik did bcoz i guess nobody can match the role played by AB. Its a legendary character just like Gabbar/Joker(TDK fame).
I dont knw abt Abhishek though but he will atleast suit the character compared to Hrithik.
My bet try Irffan Khan or may be Viveik Oberoi…
