The 2001 Gujarat earthquake scene in Kai Po Che was one of the most difficult scenes to replicate on-screen. Director Abhishek Kapoor, known for his keen eye for detail, ensured that the scene looked as real as possible.
In the film when the earthquake happens, we see the roof crumbling down, everything in the room starts shaking and we see Omi (character played by Raj Kumar Yadav) running for his life.
