After sizzling on the cover of Vogue, Priyanka Chopra is all set to scorch the silver screen in an item song titled ‘Babli Badmaash Hai’ for Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout at Wadala.
The actress, who had earlier announced her decision of not doing an item number, changed her mind for producer Ekta Kapoor
“I have always wanted to work with Ekta, and it was a great opportunity as both of us wanted to work with each other. It was a conscious decision for me not to do an item song, but Ekta was persistant” said Priyanka.
Priyanka’s contemporaries like Katrina Kaif (Chikni Chameli) and Kareena Kapoor (Fevicol Se), have all joined the ‘item number trend’.

I think there’s some sort of a misunderstanding. She’d announced she wouldn’t do item numbers because of how cheap and vulgar they’re getting these days. And apparently she has made sure the lyrics or the moves are not cheap and disgusting. So she’s still, technically, staying true to her word
