  • It is a very good lesson to people like sajid. Hope he wake up from the virtual world he is living and realizes that he cant take audience for granted. I feel he is worst director in bollywood today.
Havent seen a guy so arrogant, overconfident. This is tight slap on his face.
sometimes back he said d day i make flop film I will quit film industry.
Its time to prove your word sajid. because jo apni baat ka nahi woh apne baap ka nahi…

  • Arey Mere Ajay Fans.
Ajay Ko Chahe Kitne Bi Screens Dedo Opening Same Hi Rahegi.

    > Singham = 9 Crs (2000 screens).

    > Bol Bachan = 11.50 crs (2200 screens).

    > Son Of Sardar = 10.25 crs (2100 screens).

    > HIMMATHWALA = 11.25 crs (3200 screens).

Son Of Sardar Ke Time Par Toh Chillarahe The Ki JTHJ ki Screen Booking Ki Wajese SOS ne Thoda Kam Business kiya. Arey Par Yaha Toh Himmathwala Ko Itne Saare Wo Bi Top Class Screens Mile Fir Bi Business Low Ka Low Hi Raha. FEELING PITY.

  • Bol bachhan = Rajasthan village set up.
Son Off Sardar = Punjab Village Set up.
Himmathwala = 80’s village set up.
    .
Arey kab tak village wali movie karoge? Masala Movie Hi karni hai toh zara city me karo na taaki aaj ki generation ku pasand aaye

  • Hi Admin do u have any problem with Ajay,See hungama collection, higher than you,and i think HW will recover its investment.

  • @rizwan Khan You forgot to mention Singham : Shivgarh.

Shooting in villages keeps the film budget low and the film meets with the sentiments of Indian audience where majority of the population(around 68% – Census 2010) is rural.

  • Himmatwala won all respect as
.1) braveheart to do a film remake of 80`s
    2) devgan`s acting
    3)good location setting

why all u declare it a flop? I will describe all about its profit
Total investment= 70crores including publicity charges
    satelite right= 40crore
    collecion till wednesday 3rd april=42crore

so total profit=(40+42)-70=12 crores till 3rd april
means its a AVERAGE EARNER and not a flop

  • some body wrote this comment after watching himmatwala. I feel pity for this guy
    “Just finished puking again.
I was admitted to the hospital after watching himmatwala.
The doctor said there might be some brain damage due to the brutal assault on my intelligence.
One of my eyes popped out in the theater after watching this horrifying movie.
I had to undergo surgery to have it placed back on my face.
The doctor has told me that i will die if i ever went to the theater to watch a ‘sajid khan entertainer’.
I am going to sue ajay and sajid for all the medical bills.
    True Story.”

  • @partha- Your first 4 lines are enough for me to understand the level of movies you watch, and you must one of those audiences in b grade single screens.
Plus with a net collection of 34 cr(you are saying 42 cr are those inflated figures,i dnt want to explain in detail here that how those figures come, you dnt have basic knowledge of how these collections are shared,so no point telling those),dist, share is around 19 cr,and that’s what goes to the dist.share, and while giving verdicts, theatrical collections are counted, not satellite rights etc…..

  • Because of a few people, Bollywood is unable to move forward,we have so many good directors who are trying to take bollywood forward, but some actors, directors(read Sallu,Ajay,to some extent Akshay, prabhudeva, sajid khan, rohit shetty) are hell bent on making these pieces of trash, which is only liked by Dehati people, which in turn gives a bad name to Bollywood when we are talking at an international arena.

  • Nowadays no film is flop. It is a very rare case like JOKER.

Rest all sells their rights to satellite etc., and are safe.

BUT, the important thing to note here is not about satellite rights or others, but what is the BOX OFFICE Collection, as a film is declared a FLOP if the BOX office collection is lower than it’s budget.

The producers may get what invested, but the question is WHO IS INTERESTED IN GETTING WHAT IS INVESTED? People wants double and treble of what they invested.

So, with this flop Sajid’s market value will be low and producers will think twice before finance to his movies. If another flop happens, then he would be on the edge of going out.

  • @Das : Would u comment same had you born in a village (dihath) ? India’s 55-60% population is from rural areas or villages. If they want you n your family will die due to hunger, think before you talk. Same for @rizwan khan !!! I agree the movie may be bad (I didnt see it to be sure) but why blame innocent village people?

  • Well some people in this world can’t keep an open mind. Come on guys himmatwala was a normal Bollywood film so just don’t compare it with Hollywood. I liked himmatwala and so did my entire family. :P
