This is the final list of Highest Saturday Collections for the year 2015. The most acclaimed film of 2015, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan tops the list. The second day (Saturday) was a national holiday for Eid.
The second in the list Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which collected Rs 31.05 crore on a partial holiday in parts of the country. The third highest Saturday is another national holiday for Independence Day, when Akshay Kumar’s Brothers collected Rs 21.43 crore.
When compared to this, the Saturday collections of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale does look pretty good, doesn’t it? Brothers collected Rs 21.43 crore on a big national holiday without competition from any other film. Dilwale has managed to collect Rs 20.09 crore on a non-holiday with clash and about 20% lower screens. Do we expect too much from the Khans?
The fifth film is ‘Welcome Back’, a franchise film that did outstandingly well in its first weekend. The sixth highest is Bajirao Mastani, a film that has performed very well at the box office, inspite of competition from a very big film.
Overall, it’s not been the best of years for Bollywood. The combined collections of all films on Saturday is Rs 471.92 crore approx. This includes all films – Hindi and major English films

Brothers did’nt had a favourable genre,no chartbuster songs and extremely poor reviews while Dilwale is an out and out masala entertainer that can be enjoyed with the family.

I m srk fan, before watching dilwale i was prasing the film, after watching i would say film is not good, but not as bad as happy new year,prdp.Problem with dilwale is that it is not solo release which was in case of HNY, PRDP z vpeople didnt have any other movie as option to watch in theater, with dilwale BM has released which is very Good movie as compared to dilwale if you have option to watch better movie why would anyone opt for dilwale except the fans like us.this is the reason dilwale is not perferming well as expected. I m srk fan because he has done very good movie like in past like swadesh, MNIK, kal ho na ho, ddlj, devdas and many more, not because movies like ra one , hny, dilwale.SRK sir should not thier fans for granted.I m happy that srk is not going to more masal entertainers, and he will do movies like fan, raees, gauri shinde movies.Now few will say that i m not srk fan, if dont believe see my twitter handle @anuj_iamSrkFan they will not like my comment , but truth has been said.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol-starrer “Dilwale” has stormed the international box office charts with the film earning USD 3.4 million on its opening day.
The Rohit Shetty-directed film, which brings back the iconic pairing of SRK-Kajol after five years, has registered biggest ever opening for any Bollywood film in UAE and is running to packed housed over the weekend, said a release from Shah Rukh’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
“Dilwale” has raced ahead of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens”, which released this week in Dubai and is credited as one of the most popular Hollywood franchises ever.
Similar response has been echoed in UK, US and other parts of the world.
The action drama has become the year’s biggest ever opener for Bollywood films in UK.
It has entered the UK Top 10 Box Office Charts at No 2 position, a feat rarely achieved by Hindi films.
In the US, people have poured in large numbers to watch SRK-Kajol reunite on screen and “Dilwale” has secured the 9th position in the US box office charts.
In Malaysia, “Dilwale” has registered the biggest ever opening for any Hindi film.
The film has secured the No 2 spot in New Zealand box office charts and in Australia, “Dilwale” has not only become the biggest opener of 2015, but also the biggest ever for SRK starrers.
“Dilwale” has so far collected Rs 41.09 crore in India.
Just out after watching Dilwale. In spite of all the negative comments, I have liked the movie and especially, performances..
The grand scale in which Rohit Shetty have shot it and the way he have embedded emotions in several scenes are worth watching..

Again Salman top and Akki sir 2nd spot and our srk 3…! Lol… brother movie get worst review than Dilwale but collection are higher than dilwale. And also remember 3rd movies of Akki release in 2015 despite collection good.
Saturday for dilwale is too low. It should have increased from friday but instead it falls 5%.
Sunday is going the last day when dilwale scores better than BM.
Monday onwards as the trend suggests BM will be above Dilwale on all days.
And dilwale may be first big film films in recent time that takes around a week 1 week to even cross 100cr. That’s definitely a possibility. Big films can be referred as past films of Khans and Hrithik which generally take maximum 4-5 days to cross 100cr. That says it all how poor dilwale has been and how good competition BM has been giving iy.
Dilwale will easily cross 100 cr till next weekend in overseas .
Waiting for the time to see our Ram Lal entering BB house as a contestant and Bhai or his successor of the show shouting at him and breaking his (RAM LAL’S) inflated ego.
