According to BoxOfficeIndia, Ek Tha Tiger is the highest worldwide grosser in Week 1 (first 7 days).
As expected the Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan dominate the list, along with Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar.
Currently, Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger is by far the biggest money-spinner with 200+ crores. In it’s first week, the film grossed about 167 crores in India and 40 crores+ overseas.
3 Idiots was the Highest grossing Bollywood film for 20 months, before Bodyguard took the top spot in August 2011.

dabangg should never be considered as all time blockbuster cz the difference between previous all time blockbuster three idiots(202cr) and dabangg(140cr) is huge 62 crore.BOI had by mistake given dabangg atb status by seeing its record breaking first week opening.but it did not perform the same way like 3 idiots from third week onwards.salman only has two genuine atbb films that are mpk and hahk.srk has also two ddlj and kkhh.and don’t say kkhh was salman film.many will argue why kkhh was atb .simple reason is it released along with big film starring amitabh and govinda bmcm and still performed greatly. now a days salman fans have the habit of saying each and every film of his atbb like bodyguard,ready and ett.but the logic says salman is a huge star so opening will be record breaking but to be atb the film needs to break previous film record and must perform better from 3 rd week onwards.that’s why salman fans are considered uneducated.they don’t logically.

Yash Chopra’s last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan is going strong at the box office overseas. The movie is reportedly the highest opening Bollywood film ever in the US.
It’s uncommon for any Indian film to secure a place among the top ten films at US box office, but the Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan has made a rare entry into the top ten of the US box office, getting the eighth position. According to a statement from the producers Yash Raj Films, the film has grossed USD 7.58 million overseas, being the biggest opening Bollywood film ever in the US, UK, Australia and the Middle East.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is in the top ten with Hollywood biggies The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 (number 1), Sam Mendes’ Skyfall (number 2) and Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln (number 3), reports The Telegraph.
The other movies in US Top Ten are Wreck-It Ralph and Flight. Wreck-It Ralph an animated Disney film about a video game villain with dreams of becoming a hero, earned USD 18.6 million and is in fourth place. Fifth spot goes to the movie Flight, a star vehicle for Denzel Washington, who plays a crash-landing pilot with substance abuse problems. The movie has managed to pull in USD 8.8 million.
Directed by the legendary Yash Chopra, remembered for his quintessential musical romantic films, the movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan received a mixed response from the critics as well as the audiences. But the negative reports haven’t deterred the movie’s collection neither in India, nor overseas.
The movie’s first six-day weekend box office collection in India and overseas stand at Rs 122.47 crore. The domestic collections are a little over Rs. 80 crore, whereas, in the overseas markets, Jab Tak Hai Jaan has collected around Rs. 41.7 crore.
@fact, 100 crore thing started 2 and half years ago coz films started to get huge collections in weekends. As u all know, who is releasing movie on eid for past 2 and half years. Now every holiday including eid, rebublic day, independence day, diwali day became a target for bollywood actors so dat dey can boost der star power.
