Sajid Nadiadwala’s Heropanti, which marks the directorial debut of Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger Shroff, was initially slated to release in February 2013.
However, since the producer’s other film, Imtiaz Ali’s Highway, will also be ready for release at around the same time, the makers have decided to push the release date of Heropanti ahead.
Heropanti will now release on May 16th 2014, which also happens to be the last week of IPL 7.
“We have now decided to release Highway on February 21 2014 and consequently our other film Heropanti will now release May 16, 2014,” Nadiadwala said in a statement.
Directed by Sabbir Khan, who last directed Akshay Kumar in Kambakkht Ishq, Heropanti also stars Kriti Sanon.
