The industry took notice of Kriti Sanon’s impressive performance in ‘Heropanti’ and filmmakers lined-up to sign her for their films.
She signed the biggest film of her career when Akshay Kumar recommended her name for ‘Singh Is Bling’. However, soon after news broke out that she was in contention to play the lead in Rohit Shetty’s next with Shahrukh Khan, came reports that Amy Jackson had replaced Kriti in the Prabhu Deva directed film.
While Rohit hasn’t officially announced his film, Kriti has hinted that since ‘Singh Is Bling’ was getting delayed, her dates allotted to other films were clashing.
“I’m not doing ‘Singh Is Bling’ now. I think you all must have read. The film was getting delayed for many reasons. Now when the film is starting, its dates are clashing with my other projects, so I chose not to do it” Kriti told reporters during an event here in Mumbai.
Calling it a ‘mutual decision’, Kriti also said that Amy Jackson is perfect for the role.
“It is a mutual decision. Producer Ashvini Yardi and I tried a lot to work out the dates, but nothing worked. Then we mutually decided that I step out of the film. Now Amy Jackson is doing the film. Since I know the script, I can say she suits the role perfectly and I wish her all the best.”
Like most other stars, she refused to talk about her presence in Rohit Shetty’s film, even though she did drop a hint.
“I’m really sorry as I won’t be able to comment on that film right now. Wait for some more time, you will hear everything about the film.. I will talk about the film when the time is right.”
Makes sense to opt out of singh is bling for the rohit shetty film which is a bigger film.

this is totally a fake news. the reason she opt out is she found out that the script is crap and the lead actor is Akki who is famous for negotiating the fee instead of focusing the script.

One of the few male actors who’s stage presence I find so annoying I avoid movies he is in. Totally my loss as the stories are often in genre’s I enjoy. I must say Gabbar is back and SIB are destined to be disasters.

Kriti Sanon i think has a bright future in Bollywood . She was very good in Heropanti . She is beautiful and is decent in acting till now . Let us see whether she is a part of Dilwale or not . Singh Iss Bling is the only film of Akki for which i am not excited this year because of PrabhuDeva . R… Rajkumar and AJ both were stupid movies and most importantly both were so called original movies . Ramaiyaa Vastavaiyya was ok . Rowdy Rathore and Wanted were entertaining movies but were remakes . I am not saying PrabhuDevs cannot make a comeback but it will be difficult for him . Akshay gives second chance to directors . Previously he worked with Nikhil Advani in Patiala House after doing Chandni Chowk To China . I hope SIB is at least an entertaining movie . If SIB is a stupid movie then he should stop making movies .
