T-Series’ Hate Story 2 has done well on Friday and Saturday at the box office. The combination of a sequel to a fairly successful film and sex has worked big time once again.
The film was slightly below-the-mark in the Mumbai circuit (3.25 cr), but business up in the north in circuits like Delhi/UP (2.2 cr), East Punjab (1.4 cr), Rajasthan (0.55 cr) were good. Mysore and West Bengal were the extremely poor.
Hate Story 2 is likely to collect around 15-15.5 crore in its first weekend, which is about 25% more than the lifetime business of the first film ‘Hate Story’ (2012) which collected 12.4 cr at the box office.
The film also had a much wider release compared to the first film. While Hate Story released on 1078 screens, Hate Story 2 has released on more than 1700 screens across the country.

The film is lousy.! There is hardly any sex scenes in the film..slow first half and jay bhanushali the hero for achange is only there to sing songs..while surveen takes centre stage to do a bit of uma thurman….the climax is not surprising..

wil hav 25-30 cr lifetime as next week kick releases n it wil hardly do any business den.

based on kill bill as i warned earlier that se will reject inspired copy paste stuff …this is a bad copy of the thriller…infact very bad.. two kisses in the name of sex.. one bed scene with hardly any sex to call off ..similar scene in hmskg…so sex film myth is bluff

@babaji hasee toh phasee with abv avg verdict is a success bcz it got good reviews from vast majority of the audience and also positive reviews.but tell me one person so far who has praised hate story or for that matter hate story2?.it is just that both these films were made at shoe string budget with erotic promos that made them avg earner but dfntly not a success!!!
@megha, there are hundreds of websites in internet providing sex scenes nd many more. Just download them nd enjoy urself don’t find sex scenes in bollywood movies.
I think this movie is good enough to be a hit…Story is fast and song is good…i love this movie and its better than happy new year or some so called hit movies..
