Happy New Year!

Its been a good year for the Bollywood Film Industry and also for Indicine.com which hit the web in August 2006.

We have some great plans for 2009 starting with the re-design of the site and some additional features. Hope each and every one of you continue to enjoy the content we publish with a lot of passion and happiness. Our main goal is to maintain the quality level of the site, initiate interesting discussions and keep you updated on the latest in Bollywood.

With the beginning of every new year in Bollywood, comes a dozen of award functions. Some are obsessed with it while a few doubt its crediblity. So we have decided to have our very own set of awards in different categories, but there aint going to be any jury out here, instead its the audience and the readers of our site who will be voting.

Every single day starting from the 1st of January, there will be a new poll. The first poll will be for the Best Song of the year and the last, after many polls in between, will be for the Best Actor. We look forward to your suggestions on the Categories (i.e Best Singer, Best Music) as well as the nominations. You can post your suggestions below.

Finally, from the entire Indicine Team, we wish you a Very Happy New Year. Have a great year ahead!
