The advance booking of Happy New Year has begun at select few centres in India. About 6 theatres in Hyderabad have opened sales and the response has been terrific already.
A select few theatres in Bangalore have also opened ticket counters for the Diwali release, most multiplexes here will begin selling tickets tomorrow onwards.
In New Delhi, about 4 theatres are selling tickets, the response is good even though not many are aware that the tickets of Happy New Year are on sale.
Multiplexes in the Mumbai circuit will start selling tickets from Wednesday.
A PVR Pictures executive has also informed us that the response to their ‘Pre-booking’ has been the best for any release so far this year.
Starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, Happy New Year releases in theatres on October 24.

@iamakn,poor srk fan.akshays last filim entertaiments lifetime collection is 70 crores.if hny broke on its first day.these stupid jokes are good for srk fans,but others didnt digest and consider you as a fool.srk need 1 year and 4 months for breaking the collection of rowdy rathore with the help of rohit shetty.singam returns and bang bang again proved khans are nothing without holiday.at last our(akshay fans) national national anthem”IF KHANS RELISE 3 OR 4 RELISE IN ONE YEAR,THEN COLLECTION BECOME 60-70 crore.

@samar If there will be 100 percent occupancy throughout all shows, collections can touch 47-50 crores.But this occupancy os highly unlikely as the buzz is lower than Ce which had 88-90 percent occupancy. The last movie which had hundred percent occupancy was Ek tha tiger.
It will take few seconds for these SRK fans to disappear after HNY underperforms,,

Buzz is already high for Happy New Year. Trailer was liked from all most all critics and even Non SRKians. Songs are Mesmerizing. Star cast is full of Top actors of Bollywood whom every one want to see At a Single screen. So plz Have some faith. Movie will be blasting and sure Collections will be high.
@ Shaggy: 180 crores lifetime and flop??, lol.. If it collects 180 crores, it will be hit as major chunk of its investment has already been recovered through satellite, music rights etc.
So, 180 cr would be enough for the film to get Hit status. Anyway, as per the buzz and hype, it is surely going to collect more than 150 cr. In the 1st week itself and then in 2nd week, there is no competition as well so, 200 crores is guaranteed even if the WOM is mixed.
