Happy New Year continued its good run at the box office on its second Monday. The film has collected around 3 crore net, the 11-day total now at 182.81 crore net.
The Shahrukh Khan starrer is the 8th highest grosser of all time behind films like Dhoom 3, Krrish 3, Kick, Chennai Express, 3 Idiots, Ek Tha Tiger and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.
Happy New Year is likely to collect 33-35 crore in its second week. The film should cross the 200 crore mark in its third weekend.

sad that it has underperformed but super hit is a very decent verdict plus I and all my frndz hv ennoyed this film.so time for me to move on from hny and shift attention towards youngistaan.

very poor compared to other biggies and yet indicine is claiming to be good. remember this is srk who does one movie every year and promote it the whole year plus dewali holiday, these collections could’ve been good for someone like akki who does four movies a year with non holiday.

As predicted .. movie was never destined to make 250 crs.. expectations were too high …200+ is more than what this movie actually deserves.. and I’m not taking about the hard work the entire cast have pun in here. I’m taking about the story, pace, direction, editing etc…

And one more thing SRK should not mix Profession and friendship. I mean he should stop wroking with farah. Deep down somewhere even SRK will agree with this statement.

Also one point to another article indicine put up about HNY and Bang Bang comparison. Even Bang Bang had collected 3.61 Cr on second monday and that to with Haider still there. HNY has failed miserably.
