Happy Ending is out of most theatres, but continues to play on limited shows at multiplexes. After a disastrous first week at the box office, the film has collected around 0.75 crore in two days in its second weekend.
Happy Ending is by far the biggest disaster of 2014. The makers will end up losing around 40 crore of their investment. The film will finish with lifetime business of 22 crore.

This verdict sounds great..and should be awarded more often to these types of films which get a good release and have a star in their main lead but still end up losing a huge chunk of investment

Well! I have watched Happy Ending!
A story of Typical bollywood rom-coms with a half-hollywood type of picturization. It somewhat reminds me of Bachna ae Haseeno and Salaam Namastey. There were a few scenes where you can find some genuine fun. There were beautiful locations too.
But the main problem with the film is the plot which lacks a consistancy. Certain scenes and dialogues will make you cringe. Also, the chemistry between the lead pair doesn’t work. I always maintain my patience while watching movie. Still,I found it boring.
I will give the movie 2 stars.

bb was released in around 4000+screens in India alone.Look at the producers’ desk who themselves confirmed this n still collected 178crs,hr yet to beat yjhd collections of 180crs.Next year Ranbir will have a 200 crs grosser n hr will still finish up around 170 crs mark…lolol

There is ‘below average’, then ‘flop’ and finally a ‘disaster’. All time disaster tag looks extremely demeaning and disrespectful. You had already mentioned that it is the biggest disaster of the year. The “all time” in the final verdict made this look like it was written by a six year old on a sugar high!

I would say its really not a bad film but Saif as the central character just looks old and audinece has just lost interest in him. However I still say Just for Govida’s scenes the film is watchable. He looks younger than Saif and the show stealer in around 20 min appearance in all. What an Actor.
