Happy Birthday Ajay Devgn: The actor turns 48

One of the very best actors in the industry for over 2 decades, Ajay Devgn celebrates his 48th birthday today. The actor, who made his debut way back in 1991 with ‘Phool Aur Kaante’, was always considered to be one of the most gifted actors that we have in the industry.

After delivering some of the most powerful performances in the history of Indian Cinema in films like ‘The Legend Of Bhagat Singh’, ‘Zakhm’, ‘Gangaajal’, ‘Company’, ‘Khakee’ and several others, Ajay decided to have some fun and do films that have universal appeal.

The result was a string of hugely successful films like ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’, ‘Golmaal’, ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Son Of Sardaar’, ‘Singham’.. just to name a few. Suddenly, Ajay was enjoying the kind of popularity and fan-following that equalled some of the biggest names in the industry.

More than his stardom, Ajay’s decision to do more commercial films, spoke volumes of his versatility. Not only could he convincingly play a character like Gopal in ‘Golmaal’, but he could transform himself to play the iconic character of Sultan Mirza in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’.

2016 was a difficult year with ‘Shivaay’ failing to meet expectations, but the actor has a very strong line up this year – with films like ‘Baadshaho’ and the biggie ‘Golmaal Again’.
