Gunday has opened to a fantastic response all over, both at single screens and multiplexes across the country. Considering the star-cast, the opening is great in West Bengal, Delhi/UP, Rajasthan, C.I and C.P.. other centres are good too, but around the 50% range.
However, reports from morning shows isn’t very positive, so it remains to be seen if the film can sustain its good opening towards the end of the day. For the film to collect 10 cr+ on its opening day, evening and night shows will be important.
Last week’s release Hasee Toh Phasee is running on around 550-600 screens this week. Since its Valentine’s Day today and the film is a romantic comedy, it is expected to sustain well.

I live in Dubai and all bollywood movies as usual releases on thursday itself unlike Friday in rest of the world including India.
I watched the movie. It is really good. I am very impressed with the story..It has a wonderful Friendship story. I think it is inspired from Sholay movie… Good acting by both..Will watch it again today.
I watched this movie today….gunday is a total waste of money and time, no story at all, ranveer and arjun kapoor doesn’t know how to act, their acting is pathetic…priyanka is ok and irfan than is good….i will give 1 star out of five…….all in all the movie is a disaster…….

First 30 min is very good but then Totally predictable story.

Hmmm I will only consider Arjun a star, if he stops doing movies with Yash Raj production for a while . A good actor doesn’t play safe. Same goes with Sushant as well.
itthe opening cant be go because its a horrible movie… by the time it was 15 mts .. I wanted to pull out my hair… it was horrendous.. both the guys are ugly and the poor damsel just struts around here and there with inane dialogues.. ooff it was a torture and I ended it by closing the tv
