Go Goa Gone has collected approx Rs 4 crore on it’s opening day as per early estimates. The Zombie film has done well in major cities, but remained below-the-mark throughout the day at other places. The reports are good, so the weekend business could touch Rs 15 crore net.
The other release this week – Gippi – struggled on Friday, which was expected since the film didn’t have any face value. The response from Gippi’s target audience (urban youth) is positive, so the film should pick up over the weekend.
Aashiqui 2 remains the first choice at mass-centres in it’s third weekend. The film has already crossed the 50 crore mark and is the third biggest grosser of the year so far – and by far the biggest ROI hit.
Last week’s release Shootout At Wadala too was steady in Week 2. Total collections in 8 days – 44 crore approx.
Taran Adarsh will add 1-2 cr to this collection. :D
average movie
Even joker opened better than this. I think flop/disaster. If it picks up than below average.
