After Socha Na Tha, Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal, Imtiaz Ali is one of the most acclaimed directors in the country today. More than his heroes, its his heroines that have made the most impact. All three actresses – Ayesha Takia, Kareena Kapoor and Deepika Padukone – are most remembered for the characters they portrayed in his films.
No wonder then that every young actress is keen on working with the director. Not too long ago, there were rumours that Katrina Kaif had been signed on opposite Ranbir Kapoor, but when contacted Imtiaz Ali denied the development.
The latest buzz is that Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na star Genelia D’Souza is being considered for the lead role. Imtiaz denied to comment on the same, saying he hasn’t yet finalized anyone apart from Ranbir Kapoor.
For Genelia, working with Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor, would be a huge step forward in the industry. Here’s hoping she bags the role.

Oh No..no..no..no…Ranbir wl ruin his career if he agreed to work with Genelia.. she’s a bad actress.. I saw the movie Chance pe Dance 2 days ago and didn’t finish watching it… her performance was just (bad)!! she can’t be in any leading role.. she doesn’t leave any impact… even Shahid.. who did a good job in Kamineh and DBH gave his worst performance in CpD.. so if this movie was a flop ( and I remember even in our country.. the movie was removed from our cinemas after just a couple of days!!) so it deserved to be a flop movie because it was: a bad script, a bad direction, and a bad performance by both Shahid and Genelia
Imtiaz Ali must not sign her for his upcoming movie.. Ranbir has to refuse working with her.. she’s a stupid actress who can be just in a b or c category!

Hina: she doen’t know how to talk niether in movies.. nor in interviews.. and she doesn’t hv this screen presence as an actress in a leading role.. she was good only in JTYJN, but why not Sonam Kapoor? She’s a talented actress and there’s a chimistry between the two.. Ranbir and Sonam, or Deepika, Katrina, Priyanka.. but not Genelia!!
