Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gabbar Is Back’ has also done well in its second weekend at the box office. While ‘Piku’, which released on 1300 screens, was the first choice at premium multiplexes, ‘Gabbar Is Back’ continued to do well at smaller centre multiplexes and single-screens.
The 10-day total collections now stands at Rs 72.38 crore and the film should end its second week with net box office collections of around Rs 80 crore.
‘Bombay Velvet’ releases in theatres next week and ‘Piku’ is showing good growth at multiplexes, so ‘Gabbar Is Back’ will only be running on limited screens in Week 3. The film is likely to end its run with business of around 90-95 crore, which would cover the costs of its All-India distributors.
Overall, not quite the money-spinner that the industry has been waiting for, but a decent grosser for Akshay Kumar nonetheless. The distributors of ‘Gabbar Is Back’ and the exhibitors will be fairly happy!

Gabbar is Back was not a Bad Movie.. I watched it and liked it.I dont what is wrong with Akshay’s Movies.Majority of people like his movies but are not willing to go and watch it in theatre because on past few films.Akshay really need to work on his strategy,marketing,script choice if he wants to retain Stardom.
Top 3 places are occupied by Khans which shift position among them on yearly basis
4th is ofcourse HR
5th place is still open and there are many Contendors..Akshay should really work much better than before achieve that Spot.

Gabbar is back 95 crore bhi kar to bahut hai kyunki saal me chaar baar box office par aana aur charo baar audience ko theatre me laana is not easy task with tough competition with other films and during ipl.

Hello friends,I don’t always comment here but today I will!Why do some people compare Akki to Ranbir here like ”Bajrangi Bhushan” did just now?I mean how can they do that?I ain’t an Akki fan but truth is that he has been in the industry since a long time whereas Ranbir has completed some 7-8 years.Also Akki has a loyal fan base unlike Ranbir who is loved and adored by the girls mostly.Like ”awww he’s so handsome”,”awww he’s so cute”.Well I don’t mean that Ranbir is a bad actor.He is definetly good and has done some good movies too,but Akki is senior and also is a very good actor.This guy has the best comic timing and is also considered by many as an action hero.I am again saying that I am neither an Akki fan nor a Ranbir hater.Fact is that Ranbir is good but his fans should learn to respect the senior actors.You can’t compare the two.Chahe Aamir ya SRK jitne bhi bade ban jaye,hum unhe BigB se bada kabhi nehin bolte kyonki BigB is BigB.Please I request you all to stop comparing the two and respect all.Thanks :)
BOI and other Trade Analyst reports are almost similar. Rarely this happens in Bollywood. Gabbar not only killed Corruption, but he managed to kill Manipulation as well.
Again 90+ cr not bad if akshay have 4 movies in a year.

Akki’s masala film Gabbar= 72 cr. Ranbir’s offbeat BV will beat it and one again prove that he is bigger than flop Kumar.
after gabbar akki is up in my favourite actors from 6 to 4. briliant movie exept its climax. now i wish it will do 100.
