We had earlier reported that John Abraham’s upcoming action film ‘Force 2’ would be shot in China. However, the Chinese government has declined the request citing the sensitive storyline of the film, which revolves around intelligence agencies of multiple countries, including India.
“After wrapping up the first schedule in Budapest, the makers were ready to head to China where the film is set. However, since it deals with intelligence agencies of multiple countries, including India’s primary foreign intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing, and the Ministry of State Security (Chinese intelligence agency), the China government declined permissions of the film shoot there.” a Mid-Day source was quoted as saying.
The producer of the film, Vipul Shah confirmed the same “The Chinese government refused to give us permission to shoot there due to the film’s subject. We are still trying (to convince them) although I don’t think they will agree. So, we are also trying to figure out an alternate location. The sequel will be a step ahead from the first film. We have shot some good action sequences in the first schedule.”

Bad news. It is a story of nanda parvat. 1965 mai china ne atomic bomb banane wala tha jisse indian aur america ne milkar uski jasusi ki thi dono ne milkar nanda devi parvat par platinum lagaya tha jasusi ka liya. I think its a good movie.

Force was an average box office grosser but has generated quite a following in last few years. The movie deserved a sequel.

Garam masala and housefull 2 were Akshay starrers
His only other hit was again a multi starrer dostana and a powerful brand like race
