An FIR has been filed against actor Om Puri at the Andheri Police Station in Mumbai by a person named Prithvi Maske, for making insensitive and disrespectful comments on the Indian army. It happened last night during a live television debate on a leading Hindi channel. A short clipping of the debate has gone viral on the internet.
The actor said the ban on Pakistani artists will not change the situation. He also asked ”who asked the soldiers to join the army”
“Who had asked the soldiers to join the army? Who told them to pick the weapons? Do you want India-Pakistan enmity to turn like Israel and Palestine, and fight for ages? India is home to crores of Muslims, there is no point in proving them for war. Several Indians have their relatives staying across the border and vice-versa, how can they fight a war with their cross-border families?”
“I don’t give a damn to Salman Khan or some other Khan… Go to Modiji and cancel their (Pakistani actors’) visas. Prepare 15-20 people as suicide bombers and send them to Pakistan….”

I do agree with him. The hatres is not against Pakistan which is growing, but towards the muslims. And if the leadership in India does not calm it down, it will eventully burst out and muslims living in India will be the target.

What Om Puri said is truth and truth is always bitter for fool Indians. Did you know why Shivaay getting huge positive response and ADHM getting negative response ? Answer is that Shivaay is a Hindu movie and ADHM being a Muslim movie. I am not against Shivaay but really disliked the way when they thrashed ADHM only because it is a Muslim movie. Diwali doesn’t mean only Hindu movies wil be hit and Eid also doesn’t means that only Muslim movies will be released. Dabangg, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick all these were Hindu movies but people don’t raise voice against it but when a Muslim type movie releasing on Diwali public especially media started thrashing that movie. Also Shivaay too has a Pakistani actor but all are quite about that? Because he is a Hindu Pakistani Actor and ADHM has a Muslim Pakistani actor so everyone don’t wants to watch that movie!!!!!! This is India where Muslim movies releasing on a Hindu festival is getting banned while a Hindu movie on Muslim festivals didn’t get banned. I am still in the support of Shivaay as Ajay Devgan is my third favourite actor after Salman Khan and Sooraj Pancholi. I was too against ADHM at the past but when I came to know the reason is only being a Muslim movie then I am not also against that movie. I will support Shivaay because Ajay is Salman’s very good and old friend and Ajay is also my third favourite actor so I will watch Shivaay but will also not miss to watch ADHM as Salman himself has supported Pakistani actors

Our boys have just about returned from across the Line of Control after a very successful surgical strike. The entire nation is delirious with joy; the entire nation, except a few.
Today, I was part of a panel discussion in JNU, interestingly called “Intellectual Terrorism”. The term is self-explanatory, though wide ranging. I will discuss one type of intellectual terrorism here. The proponents of this type of terror are to found in every walk of life, but the roots of this disease are embedded in some institutions of higher learning. More of that some other time.
Karan Johar wants to know if asking Fawad Khan to go back to Pakistan will stop terror. Mahesh Bhatt joins the chorus by saying “stop terrorism, not talks” implying that we must continue to talk to Pakistan. The cricket board will continue to play matches with Pakistan. Certain business houses will continue to do business with Pakistan. All this, while our soldiers are dying on the border.
Will sending Pakistani artists back, stopping cricket and business with Pakistan actually end terror from Pakistan? No, it most certainly will not. But there is an emotion called solidarity. You cannot make films, play cricket and do business as if everything is fine, because it is not. It makes the soldier wonder aloud, “Why should I alone bear the weight of conflict?”
This conflict between India and Pakistan is not the soldier’s personal war. He is dying and killing for you and me. Imagine a situation in which the soldier felt, and behaved, like Karan Johar and Mahesh Bhatt? Imagine if a soldier walked up to his superior and said, “Sir, while I am dying on the Line of Control, these people are going about as if everything is absolutely fine between the two countries.”
How many of you would like it if a soldier felt that this was not his personal war, and he, like Mahesh Bhatt, should walk across the Line of Control and shake hands with a Pakistani soldier? Why should he alone sacrifice for India, when others were making merry?
A soldier will die before the thinks of such treason, but its certainly food for thought, isn’t it? Patriotism and sacrifice is not the sole responsibility of the soldier. India is Mahesh Bhatt’s country, as much as it is the soldier’s.
The United States boycotted the Moscow Olympics in 1980, and the Russians did likewise when they boycotted the Los Angeles Olympics in 1984. This is what happens when national interest is held paramount. And this is what must happen now.
For 70 years, Pakistan has been killing Indian citizens. Are we so inured to the pain of our fellow brethren that making a movie or playing a cricket match takes precedence over a soldier’s mourning home?
18 families have been shattered like glass. Not a word for them by our Bollywood royalty, mind you. But the pain of Fawad Khan’s departure is too much to bear, it seems. A tweet in support of Pakistani artists is mandatory.
These directors and producers will have you believe that before Rahat Fateh Ali Khan sang for Bollywood, there was no music of significance in the Hindi film industry. The cricket board is so busy making money that a widow’s silent sob and an orphan’s scream does not matter. What actually matters are day and night matches between India and Pakistan. The most keenly contested sporting event in history, they say; even better than the Ashes.
And the soldiers? Well, as far as they are concerned, they are on another planet, far removed from the glitzy Bollywood studios, and the teak paneled walls of the stately boardrooms of the BCCI. The blood, the mud, the screams and the exploding gunpowder are just distant and inconvenient, not very different from traffic during the Mumbai monsoons. Life must go on.
Its easy to ask for peace when you are a thousand miles away from the Line of Control, and your primary concerns are which party to attend this evening and where to get financing for your next film.
Peace is not a punch line. It is the end result of war.

Whatever statement he gave, whether it’s insensitive and disrespectful or not it’s his views and he has full right to express them. Fans on indicine make disrespectful statements for Salman and Srk 24*7. In that sense they should also lodge an FIR against these people.
This is intolerance from the person who filed for. Can’t a person share his views. I dont agree with him on his first few statements but he is right in the latter statements

With all respect to the Indian soldiers I think whatever he said is true. These soldiers have themselves choosen a life like that, they knew very well what they are getting into. Hats off to them for that but banning Pakistani actors is’nt a way to express solidarity to them. It will only create a war like situation.
A person might be crazy or ediot who join army to fight for nation, everyone knows army personnels have extra benefits from government and pensions so people go and join army. Try to hold salaries of army for few months then see what happens, come on guys, army does not serve country for free. They are doing their duty and we by paying taxes as salaries for them.
Indian government should attack on Pakistan and Bangladesh and destroy their rule and Start ruling both the place as before 1947 when Mughals are ruled United India.
Than every problem will be solved for all time.
There will no any Army casualty after United India.

Obviously a country like India will take some action if this keeps on happening. If they don’t take any action then we get disappointed, and if they do take action then we do this. India is a very stable country especially considering its vast diversity.
It’s really hurts to see that still India is struggling between politics and religion. Someone perfectly said, there is growing intolerance in India.
One thing is for sure, India will never grow because of this politics.

Leadership in both countries are making their nation fools. They know that saying against their neighbour will make them popular among their own people. They are using the phrase ” serving for your country ” so negatively. serving our own country doesn’t mean destroying another one.Why can’t we live as proper neighbours as we have so much in common. Pakistani dramas can be applicable on Indian people whereas problems that are depicted in bollywood are problems in Pakistan too.
And about condemning uri attacks by pakistan is concerned, how can pakistan condemn those attacks if you blame them immediately after the incident.
