Until now, PK was the only film that didn’t drop below the 5 crore mark even after running for 15 days at the box office. Now, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani has become only the second film to achieve this after successfully running in theatres for 15 days.
The collections of PK dropped below the 5 crore mark on its 18th day at the box office. Bajirao Mastani has every chance of matching this record, as long as the film manages to collect more than 5 crore today. That would mean, Sunday would also be above 5 crore and the film would drop below that point only on its 18th day at the box office.
The other film that came close to achieving this feat was Bajrangi Bhaijaan, which was above the 5 crore mark for 14 continuous days.

Christmas period is the best for trending if your content is upto the mark.People are in holidaying mood till the new year,hence good movies don’t drop heavily!

I would rate BM higher than PK……..i haven’t watched PK after watching it once…….except in bits and pieces……..but will definitely catch up BM once again on TV……..PK had more hype because of brilliant marketing by Aamir, while BM was underrated……..
PK dissappointed when you look at the whole picture…..in fact it was the neat direction of Hirani and Aamir’s acting that PK stood on its own…….though i still feel the content of OMG was far superior….
In contrast BM was completely engaging for me…….so my vote goes for BM.
Aamir was brilliant as PK………but Ranveer impressed me with his own take on Bajirao.
This just proves one thing. No stardom, no actor, no director can be above the power of content.
If the movie is good, be rest assured that it’ll earn huge.

Though PK trended brilliantly but it was nowhere close to 3 Idiots interms of goodness nor were BB
close to 3I.
3I and 2 Munna bhai films are my alltime fav movies but PK dosen’t fall in that category.
Its first half was Raju Hirani’s best work and second half was his worst work therefore over all film turned out his worst. Still it was one of the best in Bollywood.
