The nominations for the biggest awards of the season is out!
Chennai Express, Ram Leela and Raanjhanaa get nominated in all four major categories – Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Actress.
Arguably the most popular film of the year and also the highest grosser worldwide – Dhoom 3 – gets royally snubbed. The film hasn’t received a single nomination in any of the ‘popular’ categories.

I am a huge SRK fan.. but seriously, Chennai Express nominated for so many filmfare awards??? It was entertaining film, more so because I am a tamilian, and I liked it. It does not mean that it can be nominated in as many as 6 categories..!!! Filmfare yet again proves that Indian Award shows are always biased and rigged!!!
Not even a single nomination for Madras Cafe. Kai Po che deserves and so does the Lunchbox!!How did they forget special 26 too? Worst nominations ever ..

Arijit Singh for Tum Hi ho- only deserved winner here for me without a shadow of doubt…! Personal grudges and prejudice aside every other award can be argued over til the cows come home but this category is as clear as daylight- Arijit deserves it for giving Bollywood a song to last all ages- Tum Hi Ho was beautifully sung so it has to win even at Filmfake Awards… Go Arijit go

If they are like previous years then my respect for YRF will only grow- clearly YRF did not ask for any awards in return for hiring out their space… No favors for favors or back scratching going on here which is nice… No nominees for Dhoom 3 which is okay- Biggest Movie Off All Time is the biggest REWARD audience can give to any film and Dhoom 3 clearly deserves that accolade…!
