After a year filled with good performances and some great movies, the nominations for India’s oldest awards the 58th Idea Filmfare Awards 2013 are out. Barfi has received the most number of nominations – as many as 9 in the 10 popular categories. Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs Of Wasseypur has bagged 6 nominations, closely followed by Karan Malhotra’s Agneepath (5 nominations).
Unfortunately, one of the best films of 2012, Paan Singh Tomar, winner of the Colors Screen Awards 2013 for Best Film, has missed out in all categories except Best Actor in a leading role (Irrfan Khan).

@nkp.Yes bro.This is the bad luck for our awards as now actors like katrina and salman started winning awards.I think that day is not far when tushar kapoor and ravi kisan will also start bagging awards.
@nkp despite the fact that you speak nonsense I still will not hold that against Hrithik, it is not Hrithiks fault he has an idiot of a fan like you! Hrithik along with Irrfan are deserving winners so I would not begrudge either man if they won. Salman was hands down better in D1 than he was in D2 but unfortunately Filmfake awards gave the Best Actor Award to SRKs stammering unconvincing performance in MNIK that year. For 2011- if Salman didnt win that year then it should have been Sultan Mirza; Ajay Devgn for OUATIM. That was a stupendous performance and deserved to win. We bhai fans (well some of us) can give praise to other actors when it is Right to do so. I dont actually care who wins but I would give a damn if someone as undeserving as SRK wins over talented actors like Hrithik and Irrfan.
Dont knw why they nominate shreya ghoshal in chikni chameli.???it was a hindi remake of a marathi song….sunidhi chauhan should be included for gun guna re as she sang it vry well
@Navin you r 100% correct brother…Salman deserved it for Dabangg and Best critics should have been awarded to Ajay devgan for OUATIM….i remember filmfare started Power awards to acknowledge the most powerful person in d industty …and first one was given to Srk and Big …after that AAmir won 3 times (but they stopped giving the award :P) so filmfare has a long long history :P
@skg-well said bro…@navin:you should judge the acting talent and versatility….you are telling that sallu was deserving in d1..he was gud ..but it was an ordinary acting which can many actors do.but SRK in mnik showed versatility and acting skill…in 2011, hrithik was also deserving for GUZARISH…..you fool doesnt knw judge anything and start telling award was for ajay devgan for ouatim…
If anyone points his fingure on the character rizwan khan(SRK) of MNIK , then i think he is fool.I don’t think that anyone can do proper justice with that role as SRK did.And if u r talking abt dabangg, then i think Ajay’s performance in singham was better than Sallu in dabangg.So, he shud also deserved for an award.Actually u guys are confused in an award winning performance and a hit/blockbuster movie.If a movie earns better, then it never means that concerned actor deserves an award.For example, see the result of swades.Swades was commercially unsuccessful, but SRK grabbed all awards that yr and he praised by critics as well.
@Nkp if MNIK was skill and versatility for u my friend u should apply for Jury position at Filmfare u will get 1 soon :P….they always have a critical award 2…which i thought should have been given to srk for his extraordinary ahem ahem :P :P performance in MNIK which resulted in massive 72 crores at Box office :P…Dabangg which was not appreciated by the public in India at all did 140+ crores at box office …i think popular means money generating in terms of films ..anyway as i have said earlier it is FILMFARE AWARDS and anything in possible ….

@niks Well said bro, Filmfake knew as the world knew that Aamir wouldn’t attend Awards shows so they never were gonna give him the award. Big B got it for Paa but I dont think it was that great acting, no offence Amit Ji, we all love you but that really was a boring movie. What Big B did in that movie was subsequently let down by the awful acting of Lil B. Amit Ji deserved many awards in the 70’s which he never got (Big B only won 2 Filmfare Awards in the decade he was super DOMINANT) so I wouldn’t begrudge him for getting one for Paa to be honest.
@skg /@nkp Guys you cannot say that SRKs acting in MNIK was a sign of versatility. Have you guys not seen Ra.One? He did the same lame act in that movie as G.One and it made me think back to MNIK and realise how bloody awful that was.
Versatility is playing a caring school teacher in TZP to a lover/ tough guy seeking vengeance in Ghajini to a 22 yr old student in 3 idiots. Now thats what I call versatility!!!

Best actress award must be given to a very deserving actress and that can’t be any one except Sri Devi, what a talented, beautiful and natural actress, I have not seen such legendary, if best actress will be given to another actress this will be insult to Sri devi and entire bollywood.
