On Mohammad Azharuddin’s 53rd birthday, the makers of Azhar’s biopic released a video highlighting the memories of cricketer’s birthday titled ‘Azhar: The Life Of A Legend’.
Azhar’s life has been a roller-coaster ride, right from the heights of his cricketing as one of India’s most successful captains to the lows of the match-fixing scandal that rocked the cricketing world. His personal life has also been filled with ups and downs.
‘Azhar’, the makers say, is the story of a fallen hero.
Actor Emraan Hashmi will be playing the role of the cricketer. Check out the video.

Azhar and raaz 4 are going to be landmark films of 2016 in terms of content.
it is easy for any non-risk taking actor to make a biopic on non-controversial players like dhoni, milkha and mary kom. And milk 100cr through good-will of that person.
but it takes real guts for an actor to make a biopic on controversial azhar , with that all the ‘intolerance’ talk going on in India country…

I am more excited about Azhar biopic than Dhoni.Dhoni’s life has been very non-controversial.Its just a typical rag to riches story.
But Azhar has led an exciting life from being a successful captain to being accused of fixing and having had an affair with a Bollywood actress.Almost all my life I have believed him to have fixed games.At least I will get to know his side of the story
