Actor Emraan Hashmi will be playing the role of controversial former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin in one of the many biopics that are scheduled to release this year.
In a new picture that’s out, Emraan seems to be playing Azhar during his younger days.
Directed by Tony D’Souza, Azhar stars Emraan, Prachi Desai, Nargis Fakhri, Huma Qureshi and Gautam Gulati. The Balaji Motion Pictures’ produced film is scheduled to release in theatres on 13 May 2016.

With due respect to Emraan’s commitment to look as Azhar I have to say he doesn’t look like Azhar from any angle. Even the height will be an issue as Azhar was a tall man at about 6’2” and Emraan is well short of that.

May month was filled with 2 hollywood films… And no bolly film.
But with the absence of Hugh Jackman in X-men.. X-men is not going to make that sort of Impact…

There is one actor who in his bad phase is trying out tough characters and roles like Emraan Hashmi. As he is playing azhar and a dracula vampire in Raaz 4.
Besides there are well-cushioned, media created and industry backed jerks like Flop arjun kapoor, flop ranbir kapoor who are still playing on female lead’s stardom to sail through in there upcoming films.

When hrithik played Akbar in JA, i thought the same as well.
As Akbar was a short stature man with some fat persona, but Hrithik is lean and tall !
We cannot create a same person with same persona,
as Hrithik is not the twin brother of Akbar, neither Sonam os twin sister of Neerja nor Sushant is a clone of Dhoni.
Dhoni is short stature man with huge built.
While sushant is tall and very lean.
Emraan hashmi as Azhar is the closest after Farhan as milkha.
And as far as acting skills are concerned, emraan is more than able to pull-off.

This film is not on my watch list film unless it turns out to be extraordinary film like TWMR coz it was also not on my watch list last year, the only film am excited about from Emran is Raaz 4
