  • Belated Happy birthday to him. I haven’t watched many of his films, though I did checkout his mind-blowing Shanghai. He should really team up Dibakar Banerjee again!

  • He’s been around for a while (since 2003). Though hasn’t been able to cement himself as a big star which it looked like he could a few years back.

  • Mr.India concept was different.. It was a small kid’s film ….similarly Hollow man was different.. It had main lead in negative character..Mr.X 3D is having a diff plot..it will be real fun to watch antics of invisible man….
Emraan Hashmi maybe in bad phase … But he is an amazing actor…

Mr.X cinematography , Tech Vfx , 3D , specially BG music n score look simply fantastic..
    Waiting for 17th April..

  • Down to earth low profile actor…. Who always maintain partition line betn proffession n personal life..
    Hats off Mr.X .

Mr.X going to be awesome 3D experience..

And reports of Hamari Adhuri Kahani are out.. And they are overwhelming.. Another cult classic is awaited… If you have any doubt ..just read ‘ All That Could Have Been ‘ book ..

Hamari Adhuri Kahani trailer attached to Mr.x…

  • a very happy birthday to u emraan.hope u soon make a comeback.all the best for mr x and hak

  • On the contrary, it takes a lot of effort to stay in the industry for more than 10 years and have a great fan following while actors like Zayed Khan also have been in Industry for that long, their films like Sharafat Gaye Tel Lene(A good film I recommend it) has lifetime collection of less than 5 crores!

he is not part of Big banner films of yrf/dharma.. Which any new actor get easily..
With such low marketing team of his.. It is kind of achievement for him to stay 12 years and more in this Khans / Kapoors heirarchy dominated industry…

    GBH.

  • Emraan Hashmi’s Mr.X looks gud..It is a ‘Hatke’ movie which is rarity in bollywood…
Mr.X has a fantastic BackGround Score which give it an International feel…
Mr.X is one of few handful films in 3D…
Its trailer was the best i have seen this year after baby simply because i was not expecting such finesse in its effects at such a budget n vishesh banner..
    Thumbs up 4/5 ..

  • The most underrated star in bollywood, it’s really unbelievable that actors like ranvir singh and arjun kapoor have entered the 100cr but not him. That show media can make actors successful or failures.

  • Happy Birthday Emraan Hashmi … God bless you …May your all movies b superhit this year… Keep it up…U r the most talented actor … Give us some more movies like Jannat

  • @mayur

Havent seen Awarapan, but you have seriously underrated Shanghai. It’s way better than Once upon a time in Mumbai. The difference is Dibakar Banerjee. Got to say, Emraan was terrific in both these films, but the former is much superior thanks to the incredible crisp screenplay and amazingly restrained performances.

Not for once do you see plot contrivances in Dibakar Banerjee films and I being a die-hard fan of Hirani have to admit that this man is perhaps the best director of this generation ahead of Kashyap, Hirani, Vikram Motwane, and many others.

Shanghai’s another advantage is it never loses its momentum unlike OUATIN which to be honest got quite boring when the unwanted romantic track kicked off. Also, Emraan had a much bigger role to play in Shanghai, as his role was superior to Abhay, so I am baffled to see Emraan fans underrating his performance.
