Ek Bura Aadmi is inspired by stories from real life of some well-known criminals who eventually turned into politicians. Not surprisingly, they hail from the state of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
The film is a realistic portrayal of the power politics of the Hindi belt wherein money and muscle power play very prominent roles. Ek Bura Aadmi starring Arunoday Singh narrates the story of Munna Siddiqui who starts as a disciple of a politician practising value based politics but ends up being a consummate practitioner of manipulative politics.
Through the story of Siddiqui, whose intentions are noble to help the poor and downtrodden masses fight for the basic amenities but who employs questionable means to achieve these goals.
Written and directed by Ishraq, Ek Bura Aadmi has music by Band Of Bandagi, sound by Shejith Koyeri and cinematography by Mahendra Pradhan.
The film is produced under the ‘Philind Motion Picture’ banner.
