Dum Laga Ke Haisha has collected Rs 10.5 crore in its first week at the box office, which is more than 3 times the collections of Ayushmann Khurana’s last release ‘Hawaizaada’.
Yash Raj Films released the trailer just 2 weeks before release and the film wasn’t even promoted well. In fact, Dum Laga Ke Haisha released on less than 800 screens across the country.

Post-release, the film took a slow start, showed tremendous growth over the weekend and was rock-steady during the weekdays. All new releases this week are washouts and Badlapur too is nearing the end of its run, so the only choice this week at multiplexes is Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

You cant compare a off beat film like Guzaarish to Tees Maar Khan which was a Christmas release, from the director Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om.. Farah may not be big now, she was big at that time..
A disaster like Kites, made mostly in Spanish language, collected just 10 crore less than Tees Maar Khan..
According to me.. as things stand today, Hrithik is ahead of all stars except Khans.. Akki fans might not like this, but his films are still struggling to collect more than 100 crore.. and no film has opened more than 20..

Someone said that Holiday was a critically acclaimed film. Lol. . If Holiday can be known as a critically acclaimed film with ratings of 1-2 stars by critics out of 5, then BangBang also got similar ratings and it should be called as a critically acclaimed film. K3 had also got 3-3.5 stars.
